The video Amidst the Chaos presents the works from the exhibition, as well as what inhabits visual artist Lyne Bastien and how she escapes this chaos while giving us the gift of light she finds there.

Dès qu'on lui apprend à l'automne 2012 qu'elle a un cancer du sein, Lyne Bastien entreprend de peindre une œuvre par jour. De ce périple, qui se prolonge sur une année entière, naît une centaine de peintures ainsi qu'une installation comprenant huit cents œufs. Les œuvres évoquent un milieu cellulaire où cohabitent le clair et le sombre.

As soon as she was told in the fall of 2012 that she had breast cancer, Lyne Bastien began painting one work a day. From this journey, which extended over an entire year, around a hundred paintings were born as well as an installation comprising eight hundred eggs. The works evoke a cellular environment where light and dark coexist.
